Quiet location, big garden, nice view.

The smell of smoke in the room we were sleeping, loud music till late in the night. The late chekin (5PM) even if we came after that hour the room was not ready, just when we arrived they started to vacuum our room. Its a pity the location has potential but you need to clean it and keep it up!

The chances of having water to brush your teeth or take a shower are the same as winning the lottery. The breakfast is really... more of a break. If you like eating bread with jam, you are in the right place. The spectacular location pales in front of these shortcomings... it's just an overrated campsite. Not worth the money!

The location of the guesthouse is beautiful, especially for walks and hikes in Fagaras, just minutes away from Vistea Mare valley. It's pet friendly and our dog was treated very kindly, which we appreciated a lot; also loved the big green garden and the room was comfortable and had all needed facilities, including a larger-than-most bathroom with floor heating. The food we tried for dinner was also tasty, not everything on menu was available but what we had was good and fresh.

While it's great that they have a restaurant and a connected lounge, that looks nice and welcoming, the fact that they allow smoking inside is a total deal-breaker for us and I would hope that they change this policy for the health and comfort of their guests. Also, would advise booking a room upstairs if you're looking for quiet, as downstairs you can hear pretty much everything from the lobby and restaurant, and even when not full - it can get loud.

There was no room for our family despite we reserved it and paid for it some weeks earlier! The owner said that it was due to the booking error, but in a further talk we found out that the owner offers the stay on different platforms, not only by booking. She proposed us money refund or a room at her neighbors. Although the room at the neighbors was ok, the situation was inappropriate, unacceptable and unprofesional. It would be much more better to inform us earlier about double reservation and if we knew it earlier we could have changed our plans. We didn't stay for the breakfast despite we paid for it earlier, because we didn't feel comfortable to be additional guests from the other house. We heve never been in this kind of situation before.
