Super friendly owners who were really helpful. I arrived just after the earthquake and had the place to myself. Everything on the island was safe, open and functioning. No damage anywhere except some minor damage to one old church. Owners have nice selection of scooters available

Darren and mj were very welcoming.i asked for information on restaurants and Darren made some great suggestions also I needed the dentist whilst staying here and Darren made sure I had the right practice on my maps . Good room good shower and great location for maybe the best beach on the island

The hosts were very accommodating. The location is also at the center of the top tourist attractions in the area and yet you can still get some peace and quiet. It is highly recommended to rent a scooter or ebike if you’re a group of 3-5 friends so you can go around the island. The host also gave us a rundown of the tourist attractions and his honest recommendations which we really appreciated. We will definitely come back here next time.

We appreciated the warm hospitality when we checked in, we like the bed and water and wifi.

The shower has a low water pressure and has a sticky smell reason being we never take shower since we checked in, and we have to go other hotel to clean ourselves, and on top of that the AC was nott fully functional, it took 3-4 hours to make the whole room cold. We didn't like the fact that someone has accessed our room without our consent we left the AC due to the latter reason.

I recently stayed here and it was an excellent experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Darren and MJ were incredibly friendly and always happy to help with any questions or recommendations. The location was perfect—close enough to the town center for easy access to restaurants and shops, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet (I recommend getting a scooter- you can rent one at the property for a good price) Overall, I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay with the added bonus of scooter rentals. It made my trip so much more enjoyable, and I’d definitely stay here again!

Darren & MJ were very accommodating and responsive to our requests. To provide context, unfortunately during our stay, we noticed late at night that the bathroom's drainage was clogged and it left a foul odor in our room - which was definitely not caused by us. We brought this up to the hosts, good thing that the hosts called for a plumber and immediately fixed the issue while we were outside from the guest house. Darren is also kind enough to give us a lift to Sta. Fe port on our way back home and offered us free drinks as well. Overall, our stay here was understandably good and strategically practical if you want to visit most of the tourist spots in Sta. Fe, Bantayan.

Not that it matters most but since this has been part of our expectations, if you're looking for an Instagram-worthy guest house, this is not the place.
