Excellent location. Really close to the airport and Mr. Roberto was able to drop off us and that was really convenient for our group

We needed a budget hotel close to the airport with easy pickup by our horseback tour the next morning. We enjoyed wandering the local area and eating food from the local street kiosks and buying beer from the anciana at the local tienda. This is not a fancy property but it is extremely clean and well maintained. Bathrooms and doors have been updated. We felt very safe. There is a picnic table where we ate our take-out food.

Make sure you know where the hotel is located as the taxi had a little trouble to find it. I had a copy of a Google map and had noted down landmarks.

Near to the airport. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Even though we needed to arrive at the airport by 4:30am for our flight, they were able to provide reasonable transportation.

The major drawback was the nearly continuous nighttime barking of numerous town dogs, of which there are many in San Agustin. We were repeatedly awakened after dark by dog choruses. We would have to bring super earplugs or sound canceling headphones to be able to stay there again.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Owner was very nice and gave me a ride to the airport in the early morning. I would stay here again.

The guy who is running the hotel is going to charge you a lot (250). He has change but acts like he doesn’t have to get even more money out of you. I was traveling alone. Can’t recommend.

The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever tried to sleep in. As well as the bed being uncomfortable, the sheets and pillows were awful - like being in a plastic bag!

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Rooms were very loud. They scammed me in the morning when we needed to go to the airport (a 5 minute drive from the accommodation). Refused to call a taxi for us and told us they would take us themselves for 150 pesos (this is the same cost to take a taxi 30 minutes into Oaxaca centro).

No A/C Far from the center There is no key for the main gate,. They put some kind of rope that you can open the gate from the outside, but they take it off after 10pm, so when you're later this hour to your room there is no chance to enter without waking up the staff !
