Fata Morgana Suite

We liked the spacious apartment and location, and the owners are nice people

We didn't like the 55 steps to get up the apartment, few times a day . Also the kitchen not very clean, pots and fry pans very old and dirty, the overall cleanliness wasn't there I'm sorry I was expecting better than that.

Great apartment with a large terrace in the very center of Reggio di Calabria. Very easy check-in and check-out and excellent contact with the owner. We will gladly come back :)

Such a great spot. Apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. Easy to check in and out of. Nothing not to like. Would recommend this apartment to anyone . Location and ease to everything was 10/10.

The location is very central yet quiet. The rooftop terrace is stunning! Really magical. The beds and the bath very super clean and the temperature agreeable irrespectable of the heat in July.

Visitors with heavy luggage: be advised that this is on the top foor of a palazzo, without an elevator. The kitchen, the table and the table were a bit dusty/had water stains.

As it was in the city centre, we had everything that we needed in short distance

Very nice place in the center of Reggio Calabria. It had everything we needed. It is on the top floor and the terrace is great. When we come back, we would stay here again.

We loved the spacious apartment and of course the huge terrace with views in both directions along Corsa Garibaldi (and across to Sicily above the rooftops). The suite is centrally located between the wide promenade/Lungomare and the main streets. And half way between the train station and the port. All easily walkable. The kitchen and bathroom are spacious and equipped with all the essentials. Two tvs, one in the living area, another in the bedroom. Lots of hanging space and drawers. Good lighting throughout too. Access was easy with the key code & instructions sent before we arrived. It felt very secure. It was a bonus that our host arranged a taxi to the airport for our early flight home, collecting us from just outside the apartment door at 3.45am. Indeed we had good communication with our host before and during our visit, which is always reassuring. We recommend this suite if you want to be in central Reggio Calabria. It's in easy walking distance to the Duomo, several churches , Castle, Archaeology Museum, and do visit the Bergamot Museum which is fascinating! Try Bergamot Marmalade too. There's a bar a few strides away on Corsa Garibaldi for breakfast or a Spritz; another bar opposite for cheese, meats, wine etc. And an excellent traditional pizza restaurant a few strides down Via Fata Morgana. Try the calamari! It's delicious. Remember that Italian shops are open mornings then from mid afternoon. And most restautants open evenings 7pm or 7.30 onwards.

Nothing not to like! We would certainly come again.
