Great location, had all the facilities we needed and good breakfast, amazing host Raj

Very noisy place, not maintained. I have no idea if Raj is an employee or the owner, but he was the only one who tried, even though he had to be reminded of everything. At the reception and in the common areas there is always someone who is "at home" there, i.e. not a client, they never greet or respond to greetings, very strange people, it does not make for a pleasant environment. If two handy people ever cleaned up the hostel and wiped the years-old dirt with detergent, it would be a revolution. The room, 3x3 meters including the toilet, is definitely not the spacious triple room with a view that I booked. The offered view of the city does not exist, only of a small courtyard full of garbage. The price for this level of accommodation is about three times what you actually get for your money. There are a number of cleaner hostels on the same street for a better price. ... Response to the answer A reasonable manager will take care of the detergent and cleaning. You prefer to make excuses, like a little child. Out of five days, I really rested for two days, after a demanding month in the mountains, that's true. I spent the other days in the city, so you're lying again. Moreover, you don't care what the clients do with their time. In the entire five days, no one ever showed up to offer to clean. Not once. If something is extremely dirty, there's no point in pretending it's not. Your reaction says only one thing - instead of trying to change the desperate situation, you're looking for the culprit in an uncritical client. This also says something about the state of your hostel. Everyone can get a picture of how dirty the whole house is, not just my room, just by looking around the common areas. It's years of dirt. The owner doesn't mind, I do. That's all.

The host was very kind and put in a lot of effort to make our stay comfortable.

El personal muy amable, siempre disponible par dudas. Sirven el desayuno en el hotel. Muy buena ubicación para desplazarte andando a todos lados. Tienen excursiones en barco y tour por la ciudad

Muy ruidoso, por la noche escuchábamos a las motos, los perros, las personas, las ventanas no se cerraban completamente. La cama un poco dura para mi gusto.

ナンといってもオーナーのRajさんが良い人でした。日本語が話せるだけでなく、周辺をガイドをしてくれたり、宗教やバラナシの魅力、気をつけるべきことを説明してくれたりと、至れり尽くせりでした。また、朝ごはんがとてもおいしかったです。値段以上の価値は確実にあります。とても綺麗付きの人にはわかりませんが、私たちは基本的には快適に過ごせました。またバラナシに行く際は必ずもう一回利用したいと思っています。

トイレとシャワーが同じ部屋にあります。不慣れの人には多少抵抗があるかもしれません。

Locatie was geweldig, middenin de oude stad en op loopafstand van alles waar Varanasi bekend om is. De eigenaren en staff zijn fantastisch; gastvrij, behulpzaam en oprecht. In de directe omgeving zit een bekende bakkerij (tip van Raj eigenaar) en daar kun je heerlijk eten (ontbijt, lunch en diner) voor een prima prijs. Daarnaast serveert het guest house ook een prima ontbijt (toast, verse gemaakt ei, jam, koffie/thee, fruit) om de dag te starten. Kortom deze plek is een aanrader wat mij betreft. Ik zou zeker terugkeren!
