The Sovereign Villa

I was a lone female traveller and instantly I was made to feel very welcome and safe. Glen and his lovely family (and dog) were an absolute pleasure to meet. They were helpful, friendly and I wouldn't hesitate recommending people stay here. It did the job for what I needed- all the basics plus a room with a nice garden view. It was heaven to walk into after a 27 hour travelling. Glen is a superhost who is honest and reliable and really makes this place a joy to stay at. Thank you for looking after me.

Amenities could be better. Ambience can be improved. Flush was throwing a bit of water outside

Lovely spacious spotlessly clean room with large clean fridge, tv and air conditioning. 2 Towels, 2 large bottles of complimentary mineral water, bodywash and shampoo provided at check in. My room was totally bug free during my stay and pre equipped with a mosquito repellent plug in. Usually I have to buy one of those myself. Also unlike many other hotels the rooms have a lot of electrical power points which is another bonus. Glen is a gentleman and very friendly and helpful as are all of his staff. It is a very peaceful and quiet place, perfectly located less than a minutes walk to the best beach area in Candolim. The main road is also only a minute away with its plethora of shops and restaurants. I particularly recommend the stone house restaurant and Elu's place. Both are right on your doorstep. I cannot recommend sovereign villa highly enough. 10/10

Nothing!

Property is very clean and hygienic. Walkable to the beach. The property owner Mr. Glen is very helpful and genuinely guides you with everything you need in Goa. Mainly I had the room from 16-18 but due to my kids school I had to change the dates 2days ahead and I was worried about last minute changes that if I could get the property to stay. Booking.com it said sold out but later I called the owner Mr Glen and told the issue and he was so kind to understand the issue and help me move my dates without any extra charges and this is only with him I think. Usually as we check in to any hotel they ask for the payment first but here till I myself opened up and asked he didn’t even ask for payment. This is very very rare. There is nothing that you can’t like. It’s just like home not like a hotel. Very convenient.
