Everything was clean except for the kitchen

Place is kept in style back from 70s-80s. Place is located on the Island with small, local community and has it's charm

Quiet, well set up with useful kitchen. Great communication - we were emailed with room and code details in good time. Great base for hikes around the island, to return for a comfortable evening. Caught the ferry across both ways.

Beds were very comfortable. Although the bedroom was super tiny, you had a lot of common space to spread out. We did not meet the host but he repsonded quickly through messanger. The accomodation was obviousely once a place to live. Due to a lot of equipment you get some kind of visiting "granny's home" for those who like it.

Especially the kitchen equipment is very old and partly broken. There is only 1 bathroom and toilet for a lot of rooms. Therefore guests can expect waiting times. We missed also that the bathroom (especially the toilet) is cleaned more often and properly. Informations about the history of the house and the family would give the property a more personal touch.
