Opera Suites - Il sentiero della felicità

Interesting apartment very different from the majority of apartments. It's located in old town of calcata in the stone like a cave. There is a beautiful view from window and good restaurants 1 min walk.

Parking was a challenge cause you cannot enter old town with a car. You have to park the car somewhere else outside the old town. Nevertheless host I form us regarding free parking 10 minutes walk from the old town.

Everything! From the way that the room was decorated to the AMAZING view from the window. It was at times surreal, in the best of ways! Also, Francesca was way more than just a host and invited us to go out with them in town. She was so friendly that we ended up doing karaoke with her in the local pub! (Another must visit -Daniele and Laura were amazing and made us the best spritz!). Everything of this property and this town was the highlight of our trip, and even though it’s a very small town I can’t wait to be in Italy again to visit Calcata Vecchia, Federica, Daniele and Laura again!

Only that we had to leave! we felt that we left some friends behind and I wished we booked for more than just two days!

loved the location. extremely quiet with a fabulous view and incredible birdsong!

I liked everything! even the oversized tub in the sitting room (no room for it in the bathroom). well placed and a good spot to “steep”…:-)

located in the center of this small town of 50 residents. 50 years ago a group of hippies took over the town after the government gave the original towns people land to farm on. and the first towns people moved out. the town is very artistic and everyone is very friendly. happy to be able to experience this community.

we never met the host? a neighbor called her and let us into the apartment. we never were able to hook up with Wi-Fi but another resident gave us the community password? After sleeping in the bed 1 night I will need an adjustment from my chiropractor. parking was a challenge. This was a very interesting apartment. we will never forget.
