A wonderful place with amazing hosts. They were always kind and ready to help. We have been to many places and 5 stars, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. Such spacious rooms. We have not seen such cleanliness in 4 and 5 star hotels. Every detail in the rooms, the courtyard, the terrace are charming and decorated with great taste and feeling. We spent the night in a castle, as my 3 year old grandson said. The most delicious eggs, tomato sauce and cake. We miss it. I highly recommend this place in the heart of Matera. We were in a fairy tale. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the hospitality. We would definitely return right there.B

Imersos na cultura local, foi muito legal a ideia de dormir num quarto que se assemelha a caverna. Cama confortável, ambiente limpo e atendimento nota 10. O café da manhã possui uma boa variedade e é muito saboroso. A localização é um ponto alto desta acomodação. Sem muitas subidas e já estamos acomodados, próximo de excelentes restaurantes.

O quarto não dispõe de ar condicionado, apenas um ventilador, então sentimos um pouco de calor. Mas nada que prejudicasse a experiência.

Very friendly and helpful couple running the hotel. Great location near multiple good eating options. Rooms very well sound-insulated, and spacious. Fabulous shower. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful rooftop terrace.

Excellent location within the old town with lots of restaurants & attractions nearby. Friendly & helpful staff with Nicolas & Cinzia very welcoming. The rooms are full of character & a rooftop terrace with great views. We would definitely come again.

We stayed in the beautiful Deluxe Suite, which combines antique elements such as floors, ceilings, and doors with modern amenities like comfortable beds and a large, bright bathroom. The service was perfect. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome and were always available for us throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend L'Artiere Dimore nei Sassi.
