Beautiful place to stay, central to everything and the staff went over and beyond to help Breakfast was amazing Special thanks to Cinzia, Nicholas and the Breakfast lady.

This hotel is so beautiful, and in such a beautiful setting, it literally made my mom cry. Cinzia and Nicolas went above and beyond to welcome us and help us navigate our stay (which overlapped with a G7 meeting that interrupted some of the usual workings of Matera) - making restaurant reservations for us, giving us directions through the city, helping coordinate with the parking garage... We were in good hands! The rooms are luxurious, the rooftop terrace is even more beautiful than the pictures, and this hotel is just a magical place in a magical city.

Great staff! They are so helpful, courteous and will make sure you have everything you need and your are enjoying your stay. Fantastic location- beautiful, comfortable rooms.

Cinzia and team were very welcoming and helpful. They have a cafe /drinks and art/gallery. The room was very spacious and the accommodation located in the heart of the sassi. Great view from communal terrace too. Made some great recommendations for restaurants and helped arrange restaurant reservations, walking tour and taxis.

I thought when I booked there would be a balcony we could access but no.

No proper wardrobe and being charged for late check in when I hád already told them before that we would be late and then our plane was delayed over an hour on top as well.
