Location and breakfast

We booked a room with a terrace and sea view and were placed in a small room with a window facing the wall of another building. When we pointed to the discrepancy, the hosts prepared and moved us to an attic room with a small window offering a small slice of blue and explained that it was a booking.com error on availability. These things happen, but I do wish either the host or the company would have contacted us ahead of time regarding the error rather than simply putting us in a less desirable room for the same cost. However, the village was charming, the breakfast delicious, and we had a wonderful dinner at an excellent restaurant in the winding streets below the hotel, which the hosts recommended.

"Loved! Would stay again"

Really cool place. Very historic looking. We were the only 2 couples staying in the castle so it was like ours own place. The owners were wonderful!! Breakfast was delicious

The property was beautifully situated, charming, & well maintained. The owner was incredibly attentive and professional. We loved the access to the beach as well.

"Historical building with rude owner, love Fiumocreddo for dinner and Ice cream at Sicoli. Not the best beaches here."

Historical building, nicely decorated, salt and sweat breakfast offer with fruit and yoghurt. Local atmosphere i. The pittoresque village, ice cream at Sicoli, dinner in Fiumefreddo.

Patrizia the lady of the house. With my 2 years of Italian course travelling around everywhere Patrizia still pretended not to understand anything. BTW she does not speak any other language and did not give any tips for the area. The private beach bar, although having a high rating is not the place where you want to be.

"If you are even looking at this property to stay, choose it. Patrizia is the most wonderful host!"

This was by far our best stay in Italy! The daily breakfast was an amazing spread of variety. Patrizia even accommodated our gluten free needs! We were there to meet up with some distant relatives and Patrizia arranged for us all to meet at a nearby restaurant which was closed but opened that evening just for us. And her husband gave us a late night ride back to the airport to pick up our delayed luggage (while missing the football match watch party with his friends). They really took care of us beyond our expectations!

Any little thing to complain about is nothing compared to the wonderful hospitality so I have nothing to say that I didn't like.
