Nice Pool for the Kids!

Quite far away from the next town …

La stanza è in po' datata ed ha bisogno di una serie di ammodernamenti.

Wer zur Ruhe kommen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Mitten in der Natur. Und Maria Paola ist super lieb und zuvorkommend. Denke wir werden wieder kommen 😊

La disponibilité de la propriétaire. Le calme du lieu. La piscine et les jeux pour les enfants.

L’humidité dans la salle de bain mais ça il n’y sont pour rien. Le manque de climatiseur ou ventilateur nous avons eu chaud.

The apartment was not very clean. It did have all the basics for cooking but we had to clean everything before using it. The fridge (freezer part) was clearly not cleaned. The bathroom smelled and was moldy, especially the shower. There was no airco (which we knew), but there were also no flyscreens to air the room at night without mosquitos coming in. For the money we paid it was a bit disappointing. (Definitely because we can compare with the other stays in the same period)

Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich und die Bewirtung am Abend sehr lecker. Alle Gäste essen an einem großen Tisch, was einfach schön ist!

Le petit-dejeuner et le diner sont typiques et généreux. La logeuse est haute en couleurs et toujours prête à donner des conseils de visite. L'espace autour de la piscine est très agréable, avec vue sur les montagnes, transats, table de ping-pong tables et chaises pour prendre un verre ou diner devant le soleil couchant.

Le site est relié par de petites routes désertes, mais manque de chemins de randonnée. Si vous allez en bateau aux Cinque Terre, attention aux horaires : il n'y a que 2 départs le matin et 1 départ l'après-midi.

La Casa Rosa was a huge positive surprise for us. If only had we known how nice this place was beforehand, we would've booked for more nights. First of all, the house is in a very calm hill, surrounded by nature. The hills' view from the windows gave us the nicest wake ups. Maria Paola is very sweet and full of resources and tips. If she recommends you a place to eat or where to go, trust her! Otherwise, just stay in for dinner, Andrea's food will be on top of your list of best Italian food ever had (although I'd advise not to eat beforehand, as you'll get lots of food). The swimming pool was a nice place to relax on warm days. Here you can lay on a sunbed (or under a parasole) and read a nice book with the relaxing sound of crickets in the background, or play pingpong if you'd like to be more active. The house is very close to the Cinque Terre, nice for a day trip(s) (19 kms from Levanto, where you can take the train or ferry to the Cinque Terre). Extra tip: go to Brugnano in the evening. It's a pittoresque old village, you'll fall in love with it in its small streets. Extra extra tip, for meat lovers: have dinner at the "Bisteccheria" in Brugnano, you'll not regret it. Dorus & Rosita
