Location, cleanliness, had all conveniences that you need. Well appointed. Right in the heart of Trastavere

Everything was amazing! Luigi our host was so welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t fault anything!

Beautiful and huge room, close to the centre (on the main street) but very clam due to the courtyard where it is located on. The bed, bath and shower are super comfortable. Plenty of snacks and drinks included too. Owner is friendly, helpful and fast to respond. Will certainly return once i revisit Catania

Positives: 1. Luigi was absolutely amazing. I missed my direct flight from Dubai and therefore arrived at 1am in the morning. No problem for Luigi who spoke to my taxi driver enroute and gave him directions, then helped me up the stairs with my bags and showed me how everything in the apartment worked. On departure, our taxi failed to arrive, so Luigi drove us to the airport himself and refused to take any money. The owner is so lucky to have Luigi working for him/her as he is extraordinarily kind and helpful. He also speaks very good English. 2. The location is excellent. You don't need a car. Everything is on the doorstep or a short walk away. 3. Catania is a rather overlooked, untouristy, town which we really liked as, unlike (ghastly) Taormina it feels very authentic.

Negatives: 1. The property is very hard to find. It's inside a large private courtyard and the signage is tiny. Also, the 4 apartments are split between two different buildings. A mud map and some photos sent to future guests BEFORE they arrive would be super helpful. 2. My apartment (the Gold Suite) has a beautiful ceiling and a Juliette balcony which are both charming. However, the location directly on Etnea (Catania's main street) makes this room noisy and even with the French doors shut, I needed my ear plugs to sleep. The Bronze and Rock Suites are in a quieter area overlooking the internal courtyard so I'd suggest them for light sleepers. 3. The spa bath is enormous. I didn't use it because I felt guilty about using so much water in a dry climate!! I think the space it takes up would be more useful if it were a living room with a comfy sofa.

Die Lage war super und das Zimmer war sehr schön renoviert, alles im Top Zustand!

Den Balkon würde ich nicht als solchen bezeichnen, eher ein Austritt in der Hof. Letztendlich lief die komplette Kommunikation über das Handy bzw. WhatsApp… ein- und auschecken, alles. Mir persönlich fehlt die Möglichkeit der persönlichen Ansprache… Ich hatte für unsere Abfahrt zum airport um die Vermittlung eines Taxis gebeten, alles kein Problem. Nur leider kam kein Fahrer, war anscheinend auch nicht bestellt 🧐… wir haben uns dann selbst gekümmert!
