La Volpera

Beautiful!! We stayed in the loft - it was very clean and comfortable and beautifully furnished. The house is wonderful, situated amongst vineyards and in a tiny little village at the end of a very narrow road. Breakfast was left in the kitchen for us including a homemade tart :) Francesca is very kind and helpful. We loved our stay, could not fault it at all, we’d love to go back! (Just be aware the late check in time!)

I had a very pleasant stay at this charming place. The thick walls kept the room cool even during the summer heat. I really appreciated the warm welcome, the family-like atmosphere, and the fact that I could park my motorcycle safely in the courtyard. The view over the town was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet was prepared with care. I especially liked that everything was self-service – it allowed me to prepare my breakfast as early as 6:00 a.m. in peace. I would gladly come back anytime.

Unfortunately, the pictures posted on booking do not fully match with the reality as guests do not have access to the outside yard which is private but shown here. If you plan to drink a glass of wine in the evening or cup of coffee in the morning outside, it is not comfortable and you have to do it inside where the rooms and the dining room lack good light and is gloomy most of the time. Reaching the house by car is not easy but let's say not a problem if you have good driving skills and you have regular but not a big SUV car.

Finding the location. Parking. Very narrow streets.

An exceptional place - a historical building of 1720, where everything is exceptional. The daughter slept in a princess room with a canopy. We really liked the breakfast - the hostess took care of everything, even a small cake, and we cook it ourselves.

It is not easy to get to the parking lot - you need driving skills.
