R&B Santa Nicolella

the location is excellent. the host is friendly, he welcomed us nicely. everything is clean

you can hear everything from the next room, if you have a group that is restless for the neighbors, you will have a hard time sleeping

The apartment is located in the very centre of town, five minutes from the Fish Market and one minute from the main street. The room was clean and had towels. In the bathroom we found liquid soap and shampoo, as well as a hairdryer. In the kitchen we were able to use the microwave, kettle and induction oven. Cups, plates, cutlery, pots and pans are available in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, because of the central location was very loud, as under the windows in the traffic stand cars (especially in the morning) and for the same reason it was better not to open the balcony: instead of fresh air in the room got exhaust fumes. We were confused by the lack of a shower cubicle, the water when showering developed all over the bathroom, which had to be wiped with a towel, otherwise it was very easy to slip trying to get to the toilet or sink.

The coziness of the room, friendly and really nice service. Great kitchen full of kitchenware with microwave, kettle, freezer and working stove. Cute terazzza.

The workers outside were really noisy in the morning. The water from shower was everywhere.

Main communication was through an agency. Due to our late arrival in Catania we had to pay for a check-in after 11pm but we knew about it. R&B is located very close to main places of interest in Catania. It isn't necessary to use city public transport. ALIBUS bus stop is Piazza Stesicoro. For those who stay longer we recommend visiting Siracusa and Taormina. Hikers know the place they must visit :) We didn't find good mini markets nearby therefore we recommend LIDL or Penny. The kitchen was large with most necessary utilities for cooking and a big fridge. There was also a small fridge in our room. Everyone received three towels. The bathroom was rather small but clean. We liked our stay and recommend the place!

A toaster in the kitchen would be great. Evening traffic can be noisy. It is not R&B's fault but a warning for those who like silence :)
