I reached the location quite early and phoned to ask if it was ok to come. In a welcoming voice he said there was no problem. On arrival I found the gate open, parked the car in the enclosed secure parking place and made my way to reception. The owner came towards me and helped me with my bags. Formalities over as there was no lift he carried my bags to my room on the first floor. He was exceedingly welcoming and went out of his way to be helpful. The room was warm 28 degrees. He switched on the air conditioning and the room came down quickly to a nice comfortable temperature. The owner ordered for me a lovely pizza and a refreshing beer brewed locally the taste of which reminded me of some Belgian or French Flanders beers. If you go try it. He asked me what I wanted for breakfast and said I could have anything I wanted. The question too me by surprise so I left it up to him. The breakfast was good and healthy, a selection of fesh fruit, ham cheese etc. The room was a reasonable size with single bed air con and tea making facilities, fridge and tv. The bathroom was spacious, modern and clean with a good size shower. As I'm writing this I'm trying to think of something that could be improved on. I can think of nothing. To conclude I can say I would recommend this accommodation. It is especially very convenient if you need to sleep near the Swiss border either to visit Switzerland or simply to avoid the exorbitant cost of accommodation in Switzerland. The owner is a person with whom you can hold an intelligent conversation and have a laugh and a joke into the bargain
