The hosts were very, very kind people. I just want to thank again to Grace and Roberto they helped us in everything. My girlfriend was sick and Grace brought us medicines for free. She was really helpful the whole time. And we thank Roberto for helping us choose the best destinations.

Nice room, tiny breakfast (tea, coffee, some pre-packaged snacks) was available.

Not in central La Spezia, but close to the railway station.

The host is nice and the room is clean and tidy. Good restaurant and ice cream shop nearby

The only good part was the clean room and modern furnishing, what you can see in the pictures.

Everything else was a total mess I am sorry to say this. I travelled in the last year throughout all of Italy and never encountered such poor service (with the exception of the room, it was ok). The price was high as in the high season but the landlord kept saying she was short of stuff because it is low season although the train is full of people wanting to see 5 terre?! So the price is high up, but the services are down low. The check-in is done like in the '50, with you needing to provide the exact time of your arrival for someone to pass you the key, like they couldn't leave the key in a small deposit LIKE IT'S DONE EVERYWHERE ELSE. The person with whom you meet and the landlord keep talking, instead of just writing the specific instructions on walls/doors like in other basic BnBs, making you lose essential time (which is short, you have to do the check-in after 15:00 and still the landlady cannot have the room prepared and the keys put at their place is amazing). Last and not least, the thing that made me write this review, I could have get over all the other things if this would not happen: NO BAGGAGE STORAGE, I see that some BnB start to make this a feature like it is the norm. IT IS NOT, I am paying full high season price to have my luggage stored for the next day, not to be forced to pay at a luggage storage facility another 20 euros. Therefore, I do not think this is a valid accomodation facility, it is more like coming to a friend's house and paying for it. 2/5
