Location of the whole apartment was good.

We booked this apartment only because of the view to the sea and harbor as presented in the pictures in the Booking.com offer. When we arrived and self-checked in, we got room number 3 which is overlooking the building across a narrow and dark street so we basically saw a yellowish wall from our windows. We immediately contacted the host and informed that we would like to change the room as it has been some misunderstanding and we got the wrong room. He said this is the right room and no other rooms are available. So we asked to refund the money as there as been a clear misunderstanding and we are willing to find a different apartment. He replied that he could not refund the money as we paid via Booking.com. So we contacted Booking.com and presented the situation and they said absolutely no problem as long as the hosts agrees for the refund. Booking contacted the host and the host refused the refund. Booking.com recognized our claim as the pictures presented by the host in the offer were misleading. As it all took a long time, the other apartment was not available any more so we were forced to stay in the booked room. The next day, Booking.com asked us if we stayed the night in the room as the host informed Booking.com that we did not stay in the apartment. There are cameras at the entry to the apartment so the host knew we stayed the night. It turned out that he canceled our booking due to no show in order to block the possibility for us to write a review, assess the stay or inform other potential guests about the strange practice and tricks used by the host. Just to warn other guests, the pictures presented in the offer (with the view of the sea) are mainly taken from the living room shared by all the guests staying in different rooms of the apartment. The other thing that was rather peculiar about the contact with the host was that at some point he requested contacting via Whatsupp instead of Booking.com. All in all, not a good experience during holidays.:-(

Gorgeous place in the heart of the old town, beautifully decorated and with magnificent views over the city.

Great location in historic part of town. I arrived very late but owner's instructions were clear and key codes etc worked very well. Large room, very well equipped, with access to a shared living space where I could make tea/coffee and which had great views. Very comfy bed.

The sofa in the room was really dirty and you are not able to lock the doors of the bathroom.

Perfect location for a weekend trip! Close to the city. Friendly host, he gave us some good recommendations for dinner. 🙏🏼

Charming accommodations! We had 2 apartments here for our group of 5. Both were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Especially the larger room which had a loft area with a queen size bed along with the queen size in the main lower part of the apartment. The smaller apartment where our girls stayed had a living room area on the lower level with the sleeping are up in the loft. The rooms still showed the faded paintings on ceiling and walls of what seemed to be from the original building. It added a historical charm to the the units. There was a common area for all of the apartments on that floor to share with bookshelves, couches a large table with a coffee machine, glassware, etc. It had 2 large French doors which opened up to a beautiful view of the entire city. We were able have a glass of wine and watch an amazing sunset! Location was great! Mauro, the host, was excellent with his communication. We had a problem trying to get the AC going so he came by and did it for us.

The only thing that I would just make people aware of is that in the smaller apartment, the stairs to the loft are a little tricky so just be careful.

Special, unique and amazing view. Great find with restaurants below and all facilities were generous and inviting. The host was super helpful.

Nearest parking is a 5min walk up the hill so make sure you drop your bags (and partner) off at the top of the hill before parking.
