Unique experience staying in a castle and very comfortable

Worth booking to eat in the local restaurant as very little was open in the village.

Fantastyczne miejsce o dla amatorów zamków i ich wnętrz. Cudowne widoki z tarasu w dzień i w nocy. Stylowy, czysty pokój. Sympatyczny, kompetentny personel. Znakomite aperitivo i śniadanie z domowym ciastem babci :-). Bardzo dobre miejsce na krótki pobyt i długie spacery.

Heel speciaal hier. Je overnacht gewoon in een museum!!!! En je mag ook overal rond struinen, over de kasteelmuren, in de mooie zalen. Het is een ware ontdekkingstocht. Kamer is prima en heel vriendelijk personeel.

Wij hadden een kamer op de bovenste verdieping. Daar is een ladekast maar niets om iets aan op te hangen. Zelfs geen haakje voor je jas.

Pictures simply don’t capture the magic of this castle, it’s far more magnificent in person. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into another world. Wandering through the castle and having access to all the communal areas was a true privilege, and every corner seemed to tell a story. Astra at reception, if I remember her name correctly, was an absolute delight, kind, helpful, and always greeting me with a warm smile. The castle tour with Maria was equally wonderful, her knowledge and passion for the history of the castle shone through, making the experience even richer. The views were breathtaking, the horizon stretching endlessly, the river meeting the sea, it was impossible not to feel awe. My stay was just one night, but I already long to return, explore more of the surroundings, and go hiking through the area. I truly didn’t want it to end. The room was cozy and comfortable, with an incredible sea view that made waking up a joy. Breakfast was generous and satisfying, offering great value for the price. Every moment of my stay felt special, and this castle left me with memories I’ll cherish forever.

I loved everything.

This was one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed. We loved getting to explore the castle! The views are amazing. A bonus was the additional apertivo with wine in the evening. I highly recommend partaking in this. The breakfast was also amazing, and the staff were very friendly.

Be aware the town is very quiet with limited shop hours. Check restaurant availability/hours in advance. This was not a deterrent for us but something to keep in mind.
