La Pata de Oca Hostal Rural y Albergue

One of the only alburgues in Torres del Rio. Unable to get accommodation in Sansul or Los Arcos. Had a nice outdoor patio. Unusual collection of knights Templar themed decorations and Batman! An odd place.

Torres del Rio is a bit of a ghost town with no amenities. This alburgue had a pilgrim’s meal but not open for breakfast when we were leaving. Facilities were a little musty, dusty and cold - old building - but could use a good airing out and deep clean. Everything a little worn and not kept up, kind of like the town.

Bijzonder sfeervolle herberg. Enthousiaste waard.

Fantastic host who was lots of fun and who encouraged a social evening with music too. Fabulous building with lots of character and charm Lots of hot water, quiet with comfortable beds Great location on the Camino route, which gave a 7.5km head start for the next day following a long day walk. Thank you, Vincenzo, for a fabulous stay!

Sehr persönlich! Beim Pilgermenü hieß es 'no vino - no camino'! 😅🤣😂 Wir wurden gefragt, ob wir im Garten oder drinnen essen wollen. Die haben sogar ein kleines Pool! Auch die Background-Musik ist super!

Esta todo muy limpio. La habitación muy luminosa y amplia. Relación calidad-precio estupenda

Unfortunately the smell of grey water from the bathroom made for a disgusting night. The loud techno music late afternoon was terrible and the 15€ dinner of pasta was horrible.

No pudimos comer porque había un grupo que va todas las semanas y para los huéspedes no había comida ni opciones de bocadillo... Las camas los colchones se hundían en l medio, las toallas no secaban, tampoco había opción de café o desayuno.... no volveria
