Swallows Nest

Lovely welcome and an unexpectedly beautiful garden, reasonably well equipped for self- catering and comfortable bed. Plugs, adaptors well provided and WiFi good. Space attractively and thoughtfully planned.

Thin walls, antique bedside shelves too far and too noisy. No hot shower water in the morning. No matches provided for gas hob and a very small fridge.

The room have everything you need and are very clean! The host was super sweet and helpful and the staff very friendly! Love the surroundings, garden is beautiful

Just a minor thing, but I would get a proper maintenance guy and fix all the hooks and toilet paper holders that. Are not installed properly!

It was a beautiful location on the outside, didn't get to enjoy it as we left a day early (paid for 2 nights, only stayed 1)

On arrival we were given a room we didn't book. We told the manger and she said that she couldn't help. I then messaged the owner (who is on holiday, according to manager) and I still have not heard from the owner. We were told the room we booked was already booked to a group and that they couldn't help us. Then, a few hours later one of the rooms was miraculously open and we were told to move. No one helped us move anything. The new room was still not the one we booked and the while it was slightly better, it really wasn't good. The walls are paper thin, you can hear every word the neighbors speak. We met our neighbours (not a part of the "group booking" even though the manager has said all the rooms were booked by this group) and they told us that they also did not get the room they had booked. The room was supposed to have a kitchen and while there were definitely some appliances etc, the cheap little kettle (not even standard size) had mold in it. We traveled for work and my colleague in another room said she could not sleep more than a few hours because of the partying going on. We could hear the noise and it was really upsetting.
