Guesthouse Kyoto Arashiyama

Nous y avons passé 15 jours pour prendre le temps de découvrir Kyoto. Nous avions une chambre double entièrement fonctionnelle et indépendante puisqu’il y a également une cuisine dans le logement ! L’hôte est d’une gentillesse rare, disponible et réactif ainsi que la dame qui participe à l’entretien. La localisation est excellente bien qu’il ne soit pas dans le centre même, il y a plusieurs bus (dont un en face du logement), des métros, des trams qui desservent tous les lieux touristiques de la ville. Les supermarchés sont à 5min de marche. En bref, nous ne pouvons que recommander cette guesthouse qui a totalement répondu à nos* attentes !

Esperienza di dormire sul tatami terribile visto il futon poco spesso. Bagno molto angusto e con doccia su una specie di tinozza. Appartamento molto freddo

I like that it was simple Japanese style with a futon on the floor. It had everything you needed, although it was the opposite of luxurious.

It was a little far from the center of town. I ended up taking taxis that cost me $20 in a single direction for each ride.

We had the best stay in this guesthouse! It was peaceful, clean and comfortable, in traditional Japanese style set up. It was very thoughtfully set up, with a kitchenette available for use, and complimentary tea, coffee, and a few snacks to try. The host was such a lovely man, he was so genuine and friendly, we felt so welcomed by him. He also accommodated us to store our luggage for free on arrival and departure whilst we explored the city. There were a few convenience stores within a few min walk, and a larger supermarket as well as a few local restaurants. I would recommend this stay for anyone visiting Kyoto and wanting a quiet traditional stay!

It was a little far from town, approximately 30 min on public transport, but we were aware of this and didn't have any problem with it as buses and trams were very easy to use and ran regularly.

Such a lovely place to stay! The location is perfect as it is walkable with in 1KM for all trains. A lot of nice restaurants and convenient stores are nearby. The room is very comfy and clean. We had such a pleasant sleep. The owner of this guesthouse are super kind and friendly. Thank you so much for lovely souvenirs.
