早餐好吃，床鋪舒適

オーナーのカップルが素敵で交流できて嬉しかったです。

基本的にシェアハウスですから、ホテルのようにお風呂もトイレも1人用を期待すると期待外れになります。

老闆夫妻很親切，還幫忙指導停車，早餐很健康好吃。感覺很用心經營。

房子的隔音很差，隔壁房打呼聲都聽的到。廁所和浴室共用，如果人多，比較不方便。

La guesthouse est tenue par un couple adorable souriant et très accueillant. Nous avons eu droit à un dîner marocain absolument délicieux et à un petit-déjeuner japonais tout aussi savoureux. L’ambiance est conviviale et détendue comme on aime. Merci!

It was a cozy traditional house with tatami rooms and futon. out of the way of the city bustle, but close to the ferry and bus terminal. I had the place to myself on the weekday. I arrived a bit late due to my own mistakes and the owners were very kind about it!

A bit bright with the shoji screens, but that's to be expected. The shoji rattle on windy nights, but could easily be fixed by cracking the doors open a bit.

background: didn't book this place. I booked Sen guesthouse. But somehow this place, the name of which was in Japanese characters, so I didn't realise it had been swapped, was booked instead. I went to the original guesthouse I'd booked and was told I didn't have a booking. I went to this new place. As soon as I entered I realised it was awful. They were squashing everyone in one small room. I would have gad to share with two complete strangers. It wasn't a dorm. There were 3 futons on the floor, hip to hip, like a dosshouse. There were no facilities. the bathroom wasn't clean. there was no kitchen or meals or tea. She was charging double the normal price of a dorm. I left and found another hotel. I returned and explained that I felt very uncomfortable with the place. The owner had charged me 13000 yen ( the price of 2 nights in a decent hotel) and refused any kind of refund. I complained to booking.com but they didn't care, saying it was at the discretion of the owner. I didn't even spend one minute there. She'd already made her money with the other two for the tiny room. I spoke to the head of tourism at Shodashima. This lodging is not on their list of approved lodgings. He called the owner but she refused to compromise. Disgusting exploitative behaviour giving Shodashima island a bad name. And I thought the Japanese liked to avoid shame.
