人が良さそうなオーナーさん。津波注意報が出たため、島から帰ることができず、結局1泊しかできなかったが、嫌な顔ひとつせず対応してくれました。

泊まる部屋以外が暑い🥵

I appreciated finding a private room for an affordable rate. The owner of the property was very kind and helpful. I liked the free parking. My tatami room was very large and, thankfully, well air-conditioned.

The bathroom facilities are quite dated. There was no sink on the second floor, where my bedroom was located, except the tiny one on top of the toilet, so one would need to lean over the toilet and flush it, in order to brush teeth. The sink in the bathroom on the first floor is super tiny, and difficult to use. The bathrooms smelled like pee. The house is not air conditioned, with the exception of the rented guest rooms, so it’s a bit uncomfortable to use the common rooms.

The place is clean and tidy. You can have a most local experience to stay in Ryota San's house. The owner is super helpful and friendly, he is open to share what to do in Okinawa. Super chill guy!!

The host was super nice and gave us lots of local suggestions, so we ended up going to the butchers to get some snacks and drinks, and managed to go to one of the izakayas he recommended. His family is polite and courteous. Our room was huge and it was nice to lie down on the tatamis to cool off during the day. We went in the rainy season and the room was cool enough we didnt even use the fan/airconditioning! We ended up using the common room almost each night just to sit and play reversi or have a drink, the seats are comfortable. This is a countryside home so things get quiet very early despite there not being any curfews.

Rooms are bright....even in the mornings. If you are an early bird, perfect! I am not, so I was surprised to be awake at 6.30am when I usually get up later. If you are taller than 175cm, you may have some issues walking around (low ceilings).
