Location was great - right in the heart of Riomaggiore. Bed was the most comfortable we have found in Italy so far.

Access to property was tricky with large suitcases, but it seems as that is the case in all of Riomaggiore.

The location was perfect, even though Google maps sends you the wrong way, just follow the main street upwards.

The mold and moist. We had the bottom room and saw from the reviews it was probably the worst room. There was black mold everywhere, in the bathroom and near the bed. The smell was very pungent and everything felt moist to the touch. We left a day early and booked another room because we couldn't stand the smell. Next to that, the bed was sagged. Honestly I would not advise going here, but just to find another place.

The Google Maps led us the wrong way from the train station to the apartment. We had two carry on size luggages and two backpacks. Exhausted with the steps, we finally contacted the host via WhatsApp. The staffs got our location and reached us and helped us with the luggages, virtually rescued us.

It would be good if the booking listing could tell how to walk from the train station to the apartment, and mentioned the Google Maps didn't work.

There are two churches within a minute walk of the piazza! The check-in staff were very kind and helpful.
