Pensiunea Casa Fierarul din Bucovina

I loved the setting, the warmth of the owners. I felt like arriving home. I'm walking Via Transilvanica. This lodging is a bit away from the trail. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the start of the trail. I highly recommend it for a few days' stay. The food was delicious and fresh, all made at home. It has a nice bathroom with a great bathtub. After a long hike, it makes all the aches go away.

Lovely peaceful stay in the mountains with very friendly hosts. I enjoyed delicious home cooked meals during my stay. I wish I could have stayed longer! Many thanks for a great stay!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They cooked for us home made food.

If you book this location you get a whole house in stead of a room. The house is located high in the mountains. You wake up with the sound of bells from the cows. The house is exploited by a mother and son. The mother makes you a nice breakfast and dinner. All she cooks it home made. Even the milk and butter are homemaid. You feel very authenthically welkomed here

Communication with the staff is difficult because they nearly only speek Roemenian. But they are very willing to help you. The fact that the owner lives in the room nearby and is preparing the meals, can disturb your feeling of privacy
