Al mare Affittacamere

Fantastic stay in Monterosso! Marco was waiting for us at check in, full of information & maps. He was available during our entire stay for help if we needed. The room is wonderful, overlooking the beautiful waters and beach. So close to the train station it was very easy to find and get to quickly. Would highly recommend.

49 stairs, no elevator…. But we were aware

The location is excellent, very, very close to the train station and all cafes and restaurants in both the new and old sections of Monterosso. There was a lovely view to the sea from a side window and the room was spacious. Marco responded quickly to any questions and was very generous with his time, offering hiking suggestions, contact numbers for booking tours, and a list of recommended cafes.

In my opinion it might be the best property in Monterosso. We had the room with no balcony but with the window open you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore and if it’s too hot the AC was excellent. The room is simple but has everything you need and Marco was the best host, he went above and beyond and called and booked restaurant reservations for us and checked in on us most days. Can not fault this place and would happily return if we ever come back, although we’d try get to the balcony next door (sells out early)! This is our view from the window every day.

Location sublime - by the sea listening to the waves, amazing view of the CT. Not noisy - no traffic in front, only occ service vehicles. Very short walk to train, beach, cafes. Close to everywhere you want to go - it's a nice walk into the old town, and equally nice staying away from it. The apartment is lovely - lots of bench space, small clothesline (much appreciated), beach towels, a very welcome bottle of cold water - all great touches. Bathroom clean & modern. But the best is the balcony - worth getting that room. Very safe feeling for a solo female with 3 locked doors - building / shared Al Mare guest entrance / apartment. Marco was excellent - professional, friendly, helpful, good communication. Monterosso ended up being the perfect place to stay and Al Mare the perfect accommodation. Loved it.

Very close to the beach and train station .Had everything you needed

What an exceptional location in Monterosso. Beautiful view outside our window, we were probably only 10 metres from the waves. Our host Marko was so very helpful in providing us with every detail so that we could enjoy our stay, from restaurant recommendations to suggestions on things we'd like to see and do whilst in the Cinque Terre area. It was the best.

There was nothing that we didn't like. This was perfect.
