Booked out 6 rooms for our wedding, and stayed there ourselves. everything was perfect, rooms were very clean and breakfast was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. Would definitely reccomend

Overall the hotel offered a good room and the supper we had was tasy and good value for money. The breakfast was fine in the morning before we left for our journey to Glasgow.

The location was ideal for us as a mid point on our journey. Dinner in the bar in the evening was delicious Breakfast was ok.

Considering the time of year we booked and the exceptionally cold weather at the time, our room was warm when we arrived and in the evening, however, the room was very cold in the morning as the radiator did not come on. We went downstairs for breakfast only to find that the dining room was also cold as none of those radiators were on. We let Nigel know about our room and he informed us that the cold was due to a delivery man leaving the door open and the whole Hotel was now cold. When checking out we let the lady know about the room and she told us that they had been having problems with the heating in the hotel and apologised!

It's the 2nd time we have stayed here and the rooms, staff and food are excellent. It was great to see Nigel again as he remembered us from our honeymoon nearly 8 years ago. The location is great if you are traveling to Scotland or England or if you want to use the establishment as a base to explore the area. We will be back but we won't wait nearly 8 this time.

Love this hotel. It’s a great stop over up to more Northern areas of Scotland and just off the motorway, however traffic noise was not intrusive. The staff here are so helpful and the hotel has a very friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent. We always eat here in the evening.
