The area

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Although the place appeared clean, there was a very strong and unpleasant odour throughout the room and dirty linen. I’m not sure whether it was mould or something else, but it caused me chest pains and felt extremely risky to my health. I tried opening the windows and door to ventilate the room, but it did not help at all. I could not wait for morning and had to leave as soon as possible. In addition, there was no hot water, so I had to shower with cold water, without any explanation. The owner also stated that checkout time was 10:00 AM, whereas Booking.com clearly states 11:00 AM. Overall, this was a very unpleasant and concerning stay. When operating a guesthouse, hygiene, health, and basic necessities should always be a top priority

Am thankful to the staff ,our room was perfectly clean,hot water running smoothly, nearest to the shops and the warmth, we loved and enjoyed our stay looking forward for future bookings.

Initially the area looked abit rundown, but on entry, we were amazed at the warmth and friendly hospitality we received. Our basic needs were met for a one night stay, hot shower, clean toilets, comfortable bed

Staff was amazing

No hot water in the shower. We were moved from Southernwood to rosendale because it was fully overbooked. Was a bit unfortunate because I needed to do a lot in Southernwood and I'm familiar to the area whereas bolt is quite expensive in rosendale.
