Kung Nok Tha Resort Nakhon Si Thammarat

Service was poor and did not meet the expectations for such a pricey stay. We expected more from the staff. Prices of the restaurant were way too high.

Lovely find a great place to relax in a beautiful bush setting. Felt like we were in a jungle but still walking distance to the town. Lovely staff great coffee and pizza from the restaurant. Room was exactly as pictured and clean. Bed a little hard but that’s pretty standard. Overall a great place

Very peaceful location on a mountain stream. Water is very clean & fresh. The owners are lovely people. Not a lot of activities but we were there to spend a bit of quality time together. My boys 13 & 10 enjoyed themselves.

The resort is right next to a very pretty rushing river which they could present better on their website. It's rustic and old style and very cool, with wooden pathways. The rooms are huge as are the bathrooms with high vaulted ceilings and a lovely balcony overlooking the river.

There is a nice desk for working, but no chair. The bathroom is huge with a bathtub and outdoor shower but no hooks to hang your clothes. The water is warm, not hot. Breakfast is OK. There were ham and eggs and fried rice and very delicious Thai soup but nothing else. The coffee is fresh brewed and delicious. Dinner items were pizza and pork chops and steak and they were not good. We arrived at 6PM and that was their last order so we had to order fast. There is no Thai food. There are places down the road to eat so best go there. Staff is very nice as usual in 🇹🇭. ❤️

The location was our first glimpse of the Thailand rainforest and it was very dramatic. The lodge we stayed in was very spacious with a great aesthetic and absolutely spotlessly clean. The owners of the resort were incredibly kind and attentive. We arrived after they had stopped serving food so the owner drove us into the nearby village, took us to an open restaurant and helped us order food. It was very much above and beyond and hugely appreciated. They also made fantastic coffee. Sadly we only stayed 2 nights as we had plans elsewhere but it would have been nice to have stayed longer especially as it rained solidly from the moment we arrived to when we left. It really is the rainforest!

We had the most wonderful 5 days over Christmas ! Wirot and his beautiful wife Ong and gorgeous golden retriever Latte made us feel so much at home . We loved everything about Kung Nok Resort and would highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a true Thai experience . It’s great for the soul ! Thank you both 🩷
