Cisterna Nel Borgo

It was attractive and in a gorgeous location.

We stayed one night as we were cycling through. The property is slightly out of town, the room is comfortable and very quiet location.

We had planned to start cycling earlier but decided to wait for breakfast at 8am the earliest available, we were disappointed we waited. Selection and offering not really up to standard compared to other B&B in Italy. The wifi in the room was non existent.

Having had a long hike that day , it was lovely to arrive at our spacious luxurious rooms . Dinner was fabulous in their restaurant in the same building .. our host was very friendly and helpful.

This place is incredible. Located in the middle of the Val'd'Orcia with magnificent scenery all around. The hotel/restaurant is located in the center of a medieval village that sits atop a hill with a medieval castle standing guard . The rooms of the hotel were very comfortable, clean and spacious. You are treated like royalty by the owner and her staff. And the restaurant, some of the best food in Tuscany with wonderful ambiance. Our entire stay was like living in a history book.

Everything was fantastic.
