We had incredible time at the guest house. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, and we stayed for 5 nights in two adjacent rooms. The place is magnificent, full with wooden carvings and immersed in green, forming a peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are super clean and with large windows, and we got fresh water bottles every day straight to our fridge. Set in a quiet location, yet walking distance to the fresh market, 7 eleven, multitude of local stalls, and even a 24 hr McDonald's if you'd like. But the best thing in PY are the owners. They were so friendly and helpful, and took care of all our needs - from shoe repair and laundry, to arranging a cooking class or setting a visit to the adventure park. They even gave us a ride almost every night to the walking street or the night market. Always smiling and ready to assist, from the moment we entered the alley leading to the guesthouse, till the moment they dropped us at the train station when we left, sending us away with a Thai treat they made for us for the road. It really made our vacation in Kanchanaburi; if we're ever to visit again, we will definitely stay here.
