Very close to the ski lift, a really lovely owner and host, great breakfast every morning! Cheaper lift tickets and ski rental too. Onsen was perfect after a long day skiing

The location is unbeatable, literally 5 minutes walk away from the ski lift that connects directly to the entire ski area. The room itself was a lovely surprise: beautifully clean, warm and cozy, with traditional Japanese-style futon beds placed directly on the tatami floor. Honestly, we didn’t know what to expect from sleeping on the floor like that, but they turned out to be surprisingly very comfortable. We slept incredibly well every single night. But what truly makes this place unforgettable are the hosts. They are some of the kindest, most polite and genuinely warm people we’ve ever met. They helped us with ski rental and passes, prepared delicious homemade breakfast every morning, and treated us like members of their own family. We’ll never forget it! If you’re looking for a perfect ski stay with heart, this is it. We’re already counting down to our next visit! ❄️🏂

Close to ski lifts, provided 10% off for ski hire at a place nearby and discounted lift tickets. Adequate drying room. Our room had a nice view. Staff ordered a taxi for us to take to our next accomodation.

While the location was within walking distance of the lift, less than 5 mins, but it was very far from the main part of town. There are very little close restaurants nearby and it takes about 15 mins to get to the main street, with hills. The breakfast is very traditional Japanese and not great for picky eaters, because if you didnt like fish, eggs, pickled veg there was little to eat. One of the staff members would knock on our door multiple times in the morning to wake us up for breakfast, every 10 minutes or so. We also found it invasive as they came into the room with just one knock on occasion. The public bath was much smaller than we thought it would be and there is no heating so it can be quite cold before you get into the bath. No shampoo or conditioner. We forgot we had to pay cash for this accomodation and the closest ATM you can only get $100 out at a time - very inconvenient you can't just pay on booking.com like most other hotels.
