Perfect location for pre and post a trip to Grimsey. We stayed there the night before our 9 am ferry the next day and then after a night on the island we stayed there again when the ferry brought us back about 7 pm. Clean and basic. Right on the sea.

A few things needed maintenance but not major. We felt it was very impersonal with all communication online. But to some travelers that might be a plus.

"Million dollar views! STAY HERE!!"

Holy smokes!!! The view alone makes this a million dollar stay! We stayed in the downstairs apartment and it was wonderful! We were even able to do a load of laundry! Why stay in the city of Akureyri, when you can drive a few minutes up the road and stay here! Plus, it is right near the beer spa, which is a must do! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home! It was perfect.

This location is perfect! Nothing bad to say at all!

Very clean and warm, well equipped with microwave, fridge, washer and dryer.

A second comfortable chair would be a welcome addition.
