Garden Corner Guesthouse

Thank you for accommodating me at the last minute as the accommodation I did book in advance was not the best for my dogs with animals roaming around us. Beautiful garden and a place for my dogs to walk around after the long drive in the car. I traveled with my 2 Staffies.

Would like for the curtains in the room to be a bit more opaque. Especially the window facing the restaurant area for more privacy.

Price for single person was expensive @R650 I suggest that when you advertise a flat screen TV ,it must also mention DStv or not as it only had non DStv channels only

Breakfast was good the next morning when the power was restored.

The electricity was off for the whole night and day. No alternative measures were in place. Not even for lights and cooking.

Parking right outside the unit door so u can leave as soon as ur eyes open thats if u can sleep with the that AC and fridge and electric current buzzing constantly while fighting insects. After a long drive from cpt ull not be resting this will motivate u too hit the road earlier. I liked the fact we had our camping equipment too camp in that room.

Spider webs, insects, i know its the karoo but stayed at @Mango's going to cape , guess that set the bar high which is funny cause that was way cheaper. Most accommodations were full on the way back picked the last room left here guess they saw opportunity too make some money and opened up an old room. But honestly spider webs and spider in the shower some effort too clean before u bring guests, spray some doom atleast. Wifi signal is just weak, non existent just used our own data. Open view tv....., seals on the window falling off. Needs spring cleaning and repairs Q20 on the door hinges atleast , a seal at bottom of the door so the wind does not blow dust inside and insects inside . Lights would just go on and off randomly , tv on and off i assume tripping from someone next door if they using the kettle and something at the same time but somehow that affected the whole unit including ours???

Its cosy, in a quiet area. Definitely my go to for when i am on the long road to and from Cape Town

Was a convenient stop from JHB to CT. Very friendly staff and refreshing pool to cool down. All in all a good stay.

Some cob webbs in room and the extractor fan in bathroom really needs a clean. The menu at the on site Cafe is a but limiting and expensive.

The fact they have a restaurant/ menu makes life easy after a hard ride. Food tasted great. Peggy is amazing. Great person. Thank you
