Victorian Square Guesthouse

You can't beat the location of the guest house in Graaff Reinett. It is right on the road that leads to the Valley of Desolation which was the reason for our overnight stop-over in the town. It is also close to three good restaurants in town, that served breakfast (which isn't included or available at the guest house), lunch and dinner. We were very grateful to the restaurants who were open for service on the Sunday night and Monday morning of the Easter weekend. The room also had a full-sized fridge/freezer which was great to store the food that we brought with us for our holiday in Addo.

We were surprised by the fact that the 'guest house' was a full self-catering venue with no option of breakfast at all. Guests need to be aware of this when booking.

We have been coming to stay here for years with our two dogs, and we always love it. Loraine always makes you feel very welcome and our dogs are able to play freely in the garden . The rooms are always super comfortable and clean . Great place to stay !
