"Perfect place to visit Sao Miguel if you need tranquility"

Our stay at Quinta das Hortênsias was simply perfect. The house is a true haven of peace, surrounded by nature and filled with thoughtful details that make you feel at home from the very first moment. Everything is cared for with exceptional attention: impeccable cleanliness, spacious and cozy areas, and an atmosphere that brings complete tranquility. The hosts Carlos were wonderful—kind, attentive, and always available to help with any questions or recommendations. Thanks to them, our week was even more special. We leave with beautiful memories and deep gratitude. Without a doubt, it is a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended.

"Wunderbar"

Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Das Zimmer (Doppelbett plus Einzelbett) ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und verfügt über ein großes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Badewanne. Alles ist äußerst sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine sehr große Auswahl: verschiedene Sorten Gebäck, frische Käsesorten, sechs unterschiedliche Müslis, Kuchen, Kekse, Wurstwaren sowie viel frisches Obst. Außerdem gibt es eine Kaffeemaschine für Kaffeespezialitäten. Ein Pool ist ebenfalls vorhanden, jedoch war es während unseres Aufenthalts wetterbedingt zu kalt zum Schwimmen. Die Lage ist ruhig, und es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Bellende Hunde in der Nähe des Hauses, diese stören bei geschlossenem Fenster allerdings nicht.

Carlos is excellent, very attentive and kind! Excellence costumer service! Tasty breakfast with a beautiful variety of traditional and regional products. There compotes are extremely good, which I even end up asking if they sell it but they don’t. A great place to stay ! Thank you

Bom pequeno almoço, com o melhor bolo de chocolate que já comi. Local calmo e muito tranquilo, com área envolvente muito tranquila e bem cuidada. Local excelente para pernoitar para quem quer conhecer a ilha. Recomendo!

O sitio em si é perfeito integrado numa paisagem maravilhosa, num máximo de conforto e num serviço adequado.

Apesar de ser adequada á maravilhosa paisagem, torna-se uma localização um pouco distante, mas o sossego que advem é espectacular
