Serenity Lake Resort Yala

Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

A wonderful hotel situated conveniently close to Yala Park. The property boasts two stunning lakes right in front, with many more surrounding the hotel. We enjoyed an affordable Yala Safari experience arranged through the hotel. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here!

It is a really nice place. A few kilometers out of town but so very quiet. The manager and all the staff are very friendly and they will help you with everything. The pool is lovely and they arrange a very good safari. Evenings you can tell what you want for diner and they will cook it for you. Amazing place just to get away and chili for a few days.

The weather in Sri Lanka has been quite warm lately, but staying at this hotel made all the difference. Surrounded by lush greenery and plants, we hardly felt the heat; in fact, it felt pleasantly cool. The gentle breeze from the nearby lake provided an added sense of comfort, making it delightful to relax by the water's edge and enjoy a meal with a picturesque view. Plus, they even arranged a safari for us right from the hotel! If you're looking for a refreshing escape, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

This place is truly the perfect spot for a vacation getaway. My absolute favorite aspect is the serene lake situated right next to the hotel. Being near the lake brings such a sense of calm and relaxation to my mind. Another great thing is that they accept credit card payments, which adds convenience to the stay. The staff members here are incredibly friendly and accommodating. And let me tell you about the owner, Mr. Dilip—he's an absolute gem of a person. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a wonderful experience. Plus, they even arranged a fantastic safari for us right from the hotel. I can't recommend this place enough to everyone looking for a memorable stay.
