Morton Manor

I always book a guest house/hotel with a pool, so there is no rush to leave, just check out our room and relax but we were asked to leave as they had visitors for lunch. Otherwise everything was great.

Magnificent property! Luxurious suite in this grand old manor house with fabulous views across vineyards and olive trees to Helderberg. Spectacular sunset over False Bay. The most comfortable bed, lovely furnishings, well equipped kitchenette. Quiet except for owls and nightjars at night... honestly, one of the best places I've stayed at. Marion was so helpful and accommodating, she's generous with her local knowledge, insisting I go to Vergelegen before I leave - and wow was she right. A wonderful hostess and I hope to come back!

Room was spacious and the views are stunning

Replenishment if tea, coffee and rusks non-existent and a shortage of shampoo etc.

Gorgeous view from the balcony, and in a really quiet green area. The pool was lovely too. Well equipped little kitchen but careful with the fridge as when there is load shedding there is no back up generator.

It was all lovely but keep in mind there is not generator during load shedding. There is back up internet when the power is off though.

Clean and comfortable

No back up power during loadshedding, no extra toilet paper, cutlery and crockery was all mismatched and felt old (i.e. completely mismatched mugs, wine glasses etc). There could be more attention to detail especially for that price.
