Epic Den Lodge

Very nice hosts, had a big issue with the electricity so they went to get a gas stove and put the generator on so we could have wifi etc. well equipped kitchen for cooking (except washing up liquid!). about 45 mins drive from the sentinel peak hike.

Hosts don’t give you a key to the front gate as there ‘is always someone to open the gate in the house’ but often we were waiting ten mins to leave/get in again. Also just a warning if you stay more than one night - they kindly come in to clean and tidy your room which meant that we ended up leaving half of our food behind as it was put in cupboards we didn’t think we’d used!

The owner called me and explained everything that I may not like when I get there. He was very friendly and helpful

The owner must invest more in the property to stay competitive and relevant

The hosts were amazing, they had dinner with us, took the time to show us around the city, connected us with a local guide, joined us for a long walk, and were just super communicative and warm and accommodating.

The facilities were good enough, but not great. Nonetheless, we slept very well and enjoyed our stay.
