Borgo San Lorenzello

Hard to find B&B tucked into a charming Italian village off the beaten path. The owners don’t speak English but were very friendly and eager to welcome us. Rooms were spacious and offered good AC. We walked to Casale San Lorenzello for dinner and that meal was the highlight of our trip.

Free parking was listed, but parking was a nightmare to find. We ended up parking in a farm field. Breakfast was nothing special - just some store bought cakes and no fresh produce or eggs.

Lovely garden area with seating, spacious room , delicious sweet or savory breakfasts at our convenient time.

If you are looking for a quiet and secluded option in the San Lorenzello/Cerreto Sannita/Telese Terme area then this is a great option. The staff were beyond helpful and the homemade breakfast (Italian) treats made it feel like visiting family. Be sure to ask about their dining options. If they are putting on a meal at the osteria you are in for a treat. The Borgo is not a true hotel but more of an agriturismo. Forget the thread count and explore this quiet corner of Benevento province.

This isn’t a negative, at least for me, but the local options for an aperitivo or dinner are limited. That’s important to know but comes with the quiet location.

the room is very spacious. the home made pasta was wonderful. every guest who stays at this place, should have a diner at least once here ! very tasty

Our stay at Borgo San lorenzello was beyond our expectations. Rosa and Giovanna were gracious and kind. When we got lost on our way into town, Rosa came to meet us so we could follow her to Borgo San Lorenzello. We had a delicious breakfast each morning made by Giovanna along with a scrumptious pound cake made by Rosa. Dinner was a feast made by Rosa with appetizer of cheeses, tomatoes, artichokes and fried zucchini flowers, followed by pasta with fresh mushrooms , tomatoes and herbs, zucchini and meat and a cheese dish for the vegetarians followed by a rum soaked cake with white chocolate. We enjoyed our meals in the tranquil courtyard surrounded by flowers and greenery. Along with Katerina, Rosa and Giovanna, the people of San Lorenzello welcomed us with warm hearts. We came as visitors and we left feeling like family.

An excellent place to stay. The rooms were large and the bathroom and shower were great. The gardens were lovely and peaceful to sit in.
