Coibahouse Ocean Front Eco-Stay

Amazing view. Direct access to the beach. Very quiet and close to the centers for scuba-diving and diving. Seemed like the best accommodation of the town. Would 200% recommend!

Incredible view of the ocean and very close to the village restaurants. Relaxing hammocks and outdoor deck area. We were able to book tours from the host and receive convenient laundry service. Would highly recommend! :)

Beautiful place with an amazing terrace.

What’s not to love?! We loved our stay at Coibahouse! The views were amazing and the property is charming and peaceful. Darcy was a great host! We hope to come back with our kids. This is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy life.

The location and layout of the rooms are fantastic. The parking couldn’t have been better. A cute bridge to pass over that we loved walking on greeted by the guard poodles and cats. We loved the dogs and cats (they are not intrusive or noisy but will happily accept some pets if you offer them) We also loved how close it was ro everything. It was very quiet and the views of the sunsets over the beach and the islands were spectacular. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They have comfortable chairs and loungers so we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room itself but it was very serviceable. We would definitely love to return.

While we knew this going in before we booked it, private bathrooms or at least one more shared toilet would make a huge improvement in our rating. It appears that there is the possibility for that. That said, the toilet and very large separate shower was always clean and we had no issues whatsoever other than having to wait (or know that someone else is waiting on you). It isn’t really fair to complain about this as the listing clearly states it but we offer it as a “suggestion “ to further enhance the experience for their guests. Our only other concern is that the place is already booked out so we won’t be able to go back as we fell in love with it

The stay in Coiba house was incredible! To keep it short: the location is really perfect and clean, the host is super nice and helpful and the entire stay was just an experience. I wasn't looking forward to a shared bathroom, but it wasn't a problem at all: nice and clean. Location and Accomodation: 5/5⭐ Hospitality and Helpfulness: 6/5⭐ Shady-ness: 0/5⭐

Incredible location, we loved sitting in the hammocks and watching the sunset. No better view in Santa Catalina. Great aircon in the rooms and very clean with towels provided. Great access to town and the beach. Kitchen was basic but functional and worked well. The host was so helpful and friendly, we loved meeting the pets and we used the laundry service which was speedy.

Although close to the beach not the nicest beach (obviously not a fault of the accommodation but general note on Santa Catalina), but ideal if you want to go to Coiba island or surfing. Kitchen lacks utensils e.g no chopping board but for basic meals not an issue.
