Location, value for money, access to train, view and balcony, shared terrace.

Walls were thin, it was up quite a step paths up stairs (120+ stairs)

Clean room, near the beach and train station Staff helped with our luggage

There's no iron in the room. Staff didn't help with it and told that it's not impossible and dangerous. That's insane)

In central Monterosso but up 1000 stairs do make sure you are able to carry your bags

Our stay was extremely disappointing due to a serious issue with room access. When we returned to the hotel at around 10pm, we discovered that our room had been deadbolted from the inside using a master key by the cleaning staff. This meant we were completely locked out and unable to access our room or any of our belongings. What made the situation worse was how unhelpful the staff were. We were told there was nothing they could do and that we would have to wait outside in the rain until the morning for a handyman to arrive. This was completely unacceptable, especially late at night. While the facilities themselves were nice, the experience was overshadowed by this incident. Being locked out for hours with no support or solution is not something any guest should have to deal with. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

Great spot off the main strip.

To access, a decent walk up along a forest path. As well, our room required us to pass right by another room's large windows. Each is just a room and a bathroom so nowhere to hide. Overall, not the most private stay.
