Excellent service from the host - and an amazing breakfast that was included in the price.

We had a great experience staying at Romina’s place. The room was spacious, cozy, well-decorated, and super clean. It’s in a great location, right next to the lake, ferries, and restaurants. Romina is a warm and welcoming person; she responded quickly to messages. When we arrived, she greeted us, gave us tips on local food, and recommended places to explore. Every day, she prepared a delicious breakfast with both savory and sweet options, all fresh and tasty, and brought it to our room. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting beautiful Monte Isola.

Such an amazing b&b! Romina is such a welcoming host, and gave us a great introduction to her grandparents house, the island and all the information we needed for 4 nights stay. Breakfast was excellent and served in the room, and Romina even managed to provide gluten-free options for us. The location is great for exploring Monte Isola, as most ferries land in Peschiera Maraglio and there are some good options for bike rentals nearby. Would definitely recommend this.

Romina was super nice and helpful!

Our stay at Come Una Volta exceeded all of our expectations. Located centrally in Peschiera Maraglio it was close to restaurants, ferries and walking paths around the island. We received a warm greeting from Romina the host/owner and she made us feel immediately at home. She provided helpful information and recommendations for enjoying our time on the island. The breakfasts were delicious and the surroundings charming! Truly a memorable experience!

Romina is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful giving us information about parking, the ferry and what to do on the island. Breakfast was excellent, served in our room. She really goes out of her way to make sure her guests feel well taken care of. The room is comfortable with a modern bathroom. On our last day we were heading for the ferry and Romina was taking breakfast to other guests so we only had time for a short exchange. However afterwards she walked to the dock to give us a proper farewell. The name of the B & B says it all. You really feel like you are living in a small village just as it was when Romina's grandmother was there.
