I Dammusi del Blu Green

Dammuso immerso nella natura, silenzioso a dieci minuti in motorino dal centro; spazioso e completo di servizi. Cucina ad uso comune provvista di tutto. Massima disponibilità dei proprietari che ci hanno permesso di usare la stanza per tutto il giorno del check out avendo il volo di rientro in tarda serata. Ottimo soggiorno!

It’s a bit difficult to think of things that I liked at the property/Dammunsi!

So here goes…. I have stayed at many hotels in the past but I have to say that I was utterly disappointed with this particular Dammunsi. I know the owner will say that Dammunis’s are supposed to consist of basic utilities however, the utilities provided were just awful. The bed creaked even if you moved a little, the wardrobe provided was dirty and broken, the bed side tables were tilted, the floor was incredibly dirty, the AC operated through a wiring system (pictures attached) presenting a health and safety hazard, the toilet was clean but there was hardly any hot water!!!!! The towels provided were not even proper towels!! Yes there was a kitchen and she did provided us with a bottle of water but the cups/mugs were chipped!!!! There was a gap in the door and a little beetle entered our room through the gap!!!! Honestly the worse place I have ever stayed at and I paid £376 for this-if I had paid £10 that would have been fine but it’s certainly not worth £376-I think booking.com needs to take notice of this place and do something!!! Then I asked the owner for 2 extra bed sheets (she provided one extra bed sheet) but then stated “please do not ask us about every single thing”. It didn’t feel like a holiday as I found the owner to be rude and demanding (she kept asking us to switch off the lights). I understand that it’s an island with limited supply of electricity, but you cannot be dominating us in such a way-we are here to enjoy our holiday not to be told off!!!! It very much reminded me of the Flintstones (but a very much more unkempt version of it). I would avoid this place at all costs!!! UPDATE: Trust me the owner is very abrasive and rude. I asked her to refrain from throwing a plastic bottle away as I needed it for later-just read her reply to my review (calling me Great Thunberg, special case, etc) speaks volume. I am surprised booking.com have not reprimanded her for her review. Her Dammusi is a joke-pictures are attached, so I needn't say more.
