My Home-Gorgona

The location was very central. The bed was comfortable.

The property was needing some attention. In the bathroom there was a very rusty shelf and the shower leaked as the silicone had come away at the bottom of the shower tray. The toilet brush was disgusting. Considering the previous reviews about the property benefitting from a small fridge in the room especially in the summer there still is no fridge. So you can not make tea or coffee in the room as you are unable to store milk or cold water. We have stayed in this type of room many times we prefer this to hotels. I know the property is not a hotel but there was also no iron or ironing board provided, there was plenty of room to store these and it would of been helpful to have them as our clothing like all travellers had been folded in bags. It’s a shame as this could be a lovely property if given a little more attention to detail. Maybe even a small table and chairs by the window to have breakfast and watch the busy street below.

Clean and comfortable. Air-conditioned. Close to ferry. Public parking available, otherwise parking garage close by. Good communication with host. Everything was perfect.

A very pretty and quiet accomodation right in the heart of Livorno.

It was super for what I needed. Solo traveller so not picky. There was a kettle but little else, no fridge etc... room wad clean however the washroom did have that gaseous sewer smell. The host was very nice but had I not had the fortune of bumping into a delivery man at the front door, I may have never been able to find the room. There wad zero email instructions of how to find and check in. The inside was clean, but the location is immediately next to a large road, and for sone reason the people in that town like to honk their scooter horns for no reason until well past midnight.

A mini fridge would be a great addition especially in summertime.
