We had a pleasent holiday, beautiful, quiet place near Bari, perfect if you want to reach the lungmare by walk but also not being too far from Bari and other must sees. Train station is within 10 minutes, trains run frequently at a reasonable price. The owner offered us a ride from the airport and asked us if all was great during our stay. Also we got fruit which was very kind. I love Italy in general, I know the ups and downs as I lived in Milan and Sicily for 1,5 years, but again in Puglia I felt very much at home from the first moment. Palese is very quiet, went for evening walks, you have some options to eat out if you want as well. Casablanca is a great restaurant. Beach is very pleasent but pls make sure you are aware this is not a sandy beach are, it is more rocky, but we loved it all the same. I would love to return whenever it is possible. September felt still summer, which is quite normal. Un posto veramente meravigliosa, grazie, a presto!

Comfy, air-conditioned rooms, a beautiful garden, nice surroundings, near the beach, the owner was really nice & helpful, he helped us out even in some very unpredictable situations. Coffee and complimentary snacks always available. We loved our stay here.

The owner does understand some English, but it makes things a lot easier if you have basic knowledge of Italian. Spanish works too. It's worth mentioning that the room will not be cleaned for the duration of your stay. Also, while the room was generally clean, we did have a chance encounter with a cockroach at one point.
