Theresia

We had a lovely one-night stay at Theresia. We received a very warm welcome. The check-in and check-out were flexible and we got to have morning coffee a bit earlier because of our schedule. I highly recommend this place if you wan't to stay at a quieter area in Riva. It's right next to a school and a church and there is good Trattoria just across the street. Local wine farms and orchards are a two minutes walk away. The rooms are very clean, there are balconies and air conditioning.

The air conditioning is pretty noisy and feels a bit underpowered.

We liked that the property was in a quiet and peaceful area. The aesthetic of the building was good. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast was very good with a variety of good quality options. The bicycle renting here was very convenient and fun. The staff are fantastic and super.

I did not know that the air conditioning would not work with the balcony door open. So in the night it was very hot until I figured out that the balcony door must be closed.

Everything . Cute place with very nice staff. Nice breakfast, good location and clean rooms

Sauber und ruhig

Really lovely b&b - The space is lovely, love the wood feel in the rooms, very natural - The view from our room was a beautiful looking old courtyard, and the front of the B&B has a lovely view over Riva as well. Also the breakfast?? The best we’ve had on this trip. Excellent options and cute space, I’ll add a photo of it. I think this place is well suited for families who are looking for a quiet retreat from the busy-ness of the main part of town.

Just minor things - I do think the location isn’t really super walkable to the main part of town, especially if you’re older, my wife and I did it but was about 40 mins both ways to the main square. The only other thing I noted is that checkout is quite early, 9:30. Earliest of any hotel/b&b i’ve stayed at. But all in all, great place to stay for a couple nights, easy parking, super kind and welcoming staff, and I’d definitely stay again.
