"Is it legal to let the guests pay for a tax stamp?"

The property is located near the ski area, the apartment is in mountain hut style, wood walls make the environment very comfortable and warm.

The price for one night a bit too expensive. The host ask us for 3 euros refund for a tax duty (marca da bollo), it was not for the small cost, but the fact that on the booking deal wasn’t specified that in addition to the tourist tax we would have payed for it as well.
