Host is more than magnificent. Location is great. We walked everywhere.

The place is a bit musty (it is a cave) an airfreshner would definitely help.

Hébergement typique et super emplacement pour découvrir la ville.

Chambre vraiment trop humide (on le savait pour ce genre de logement mais on ne pensait pas à ce point). Odeur d humidité prédominante dans tout le logement, draps tout moites, impression très désagréable. Équipements minimalistes.

"Fabulous super clean and comfy cave house."

Really quirky 'cave house', spotlessly clean, lovely small touches like bottled water, some milk and cakes and biscuits provided. Great location 2 min walk from main square yet super quiet. Beautiful bathroom and excellent shower lovely design all round. Superb host, very informative, welcoming, helpful and so passionate about the history of the house and Matera.

"Magic stay in Matera"

What did we like? EVERYTHING. From Michele’s warm welcome—he took the time to show us Casa Ferri and his city with such passion—to the accommodations, which are very spacious, comfortable, cozy, and in an excellent location. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and security was top-notch. We happened to be there during a cold snap in the area, but it was very cozy inside. We left the car a few blocks away in a parking lot, walked there with our luggage without any trouble, and Michele was very attentive upon our arrival. Nothing but words of gratitude and a silent promise to return, because Matera is magical and Casa Ferri is one of a kind.
